Thrust Washers made of PAI GLon™ XA55:
High-Performance and Wear-Resistant

For many applications, thrust washers made from PAI GLon™ XA55 (formerly known as Torlon® XA PAI) are the optimal choice. This high-performance plastic was specifically developed for heavily loaded thrust washers and plastic components and offers exceptional properties—even in unlubricated environments—often outperforming coated metallic materials.

A key advantage: Since the entire component is made from a single material, its performance characteristics remain consistent even as it wears. In contrast, damaged coatings on metallic components can significantly impair performance and destabilize the entire system.
